Key Ingredients and Functions

 

Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) oil – its anti-inflammatory properties help to reduce puffiness and under-eye circles, whilst improving skin tone and complexion. 

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride – A combination of coconut oil and Glycerin that helps to smooth, soften, and antioxidize the skin. Leaves the skin with a protective layer, preventing the escape of moisture, leaving a non-greasy glow on the skin.

Glycerin – a water attractant, helps the skin draw in water from the air, and from deeper layers of skin to the outer layer. Gives your skin the ability to maintain a soft, moisturized, and healthy look.

Butyrospermum parkii butter (shea butter) – Works as an antioxidizing moisture-binding agent containing both vitamin E and catechins (natural chemicals). It promotes cell regeneration, leaving the skin softer and more youthful.

Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract – A source of vitamin C and natural antioxidants.  It tones, exfoliates and manages oils on the skin whilst also providing an overarching moisturizing effect. 

Calendula Officinalis (Marigold flower) Extract – This extract conditions the skin, firming and moisturizing it. It also acts as a protector against inflammation and the environment external aggressors. 

Macropiper Excelsum (Kawakawa) leaf extract – The extract from New Zealand’s own native pepper tree mildly stimulates and soothes the skin. It reduces the appearance of blemishes and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) –  An antioxidant-rich protective barrier for the skin that prevents aging through UV and Free radical exposure (environmental factors). 

Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil – Manages the skin’s oil production preventing the skin from becoming too dry or too oily. It also acts as a natural moisturizer that seals its soothing effects on the skin.

Arctostaphylos Uva-Ursi Leaf Extract – Through protecting the skin against the sun’s UV rays, the extract also prevents the skin from showing signs of aging.

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil – A moisturizer that attracts water to the top layer of the skin which maintains hydration whilst also being antibacterial and antioxidizing. This promotes the regeneration of collagen and prevents buildup on the skin. 

Retinyl palmitate (Vitamin A) – Targets skins imperfections by increasing the production of collagen and preventing its breakdown. It fades the signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles by leaving the skin firm, supple, and absent of discoloration. 

Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil – This is a skin conditioning agent that leaves the skin smooth in appearance and soft to the touch. 

Ubiquinone – Functions to regenerate and repair the skin through its role in cell development. Fine lines are reduced, wrinkles smoothed, and skin tone is evened out making the skin appear rejuvenated. 

Citric acid – promotes new skin growth by exfoliating the skin, unclogging pores, and removing build-up on the surface of the skin. The new skin growth can repair age spots, scarring and blemishes whilst also preventing the occurrence of dry patches.
